The Do Drul Chorten Stupa is one amongst the most famous attractions of Gangtok, Sikkim. You would be amazed to know that the Do Drul Chorten Stupa is the biggest Stupa in the entire state of Sikkim. These prayer wheels are special as it has got the religious mantras engraved on it and the person visiting the Stupa has to chant these mantras to complete his pilgrimage visit. The spinning of the wheel is considered to give a feeling which is equivalently gentle and beautiful as "the hailing of the jewel in the Lotus".

The Do Drul Chorten Stupa has also got a gold plated spire which makes it an even more special place to be. If you think this is it then you are sadly mistaken, as the Do Drul Chorten Stupa has also got two colossal statues of Guru Rinpoche which are called Chorten Lhakhang and Guru Lhakhang.
