Rahu Yantra According to Indian astrology Rahu is considered to be a demon who is the cause of chaos, cruelty and mysteries. Firstly the yantra needs to be placed in an altar that is facing either east or north. Other people should not be allowed to touch the yantra; this is one of the most important guidelines to be followed. The yantra should be washed periodically with either rose water or milk. Make some sandal wood paste and apply them in small rounded dots at the corners and centre of the yantra. Incense or oil lamp should be lit in front of the yantra. As each yantra has its own mantra to be recited as a prayer during its worship this too has its own. The mantra that is to be chanted when worship of this yantra is carried out is "Om Rahave Namah". This particular mantra should be chanted for 108 times during the worship of the talisman.

The Rahu yantra can be made by taking the help of a priest who is learned in the field of yantras. This particular yantra comprises of 9 boxes drawn within one big box. Then the smaller 9 boxes are filled in with numbers in the sequence of 13, 8 and 15 in the first three boxes, 14, 12 and 10 in the second three and in the last three boxes the numbers 9, 16 and 11 are put. This is then blessed and activated by the pundit.
