Ammathiruvadi Temple houses the deity of Durga who is an incarnation of Parvathi Devi. She is very powerful and kills all evils in the world and does well for its devotees. It is believed that peoples coming here with pure devotion will get their wishes come true very soon after visiting this temple. Here she is called as Ammathiruvadi, which is the other name in Malayalam language to call for Durga, Devi or Maa. The Ammathiruvadi Ammai is the wording used to praise here in prayers by her devotees.



Arattupuzha Sree Sastha Temple is a worship place for the Iyappa Swamy who is also called as the Sastha by the Hindus. Many of his devotees call him as Dharma Sastha. The Shabari Mala pilgrim season is the most important season for this temple. It conducts ritual and ceremonies for the pilgrimage to take penance and do ceremonies while going to the holy abode of this Sastha at Shabri Mala on the 41st day after penance. He is a celibate and these seasons are manly seen with the men hood. Woman does worship here, but they can't take the Shabari mala pilgrimage.



Avittathur Siva Temple is also worshiped as the Avittathur Mahadevar. Here Lord Shiva is praised as the Mahadevar or the Supreme Being. This temple has more than 2000 years long standing history and is evident to see this in the temple. It is believed that Maharshi Agaysthiyar performed a very important ceremony here. This Siva temple comes under the Vedic Villages or the Spiritual Village in Kerala State and is belied to be the most important one among 64 such villages which is in the Dravidian region.



Guruvayur Temple is a well know Vishnu temple in the form of Sri Krishna. This is one of the famous temples for the Vishnaviks. Koodalmanikyam Temple's main deity is the Brateshwara. Barath is also one of Lord Rama's brothers in the Tretha Yuga. He is considered as more noble and honest than the Lord Rama, since he didn't accept the throne when Lord Rama was in forest exile. Thiruvanchikulam Temple actual name is Thiru Vanjai Kulam, but locally spelled out in a single word. Here Lord Shiva is worshiped as the Mahadeva or the Supreme Being, hence this temple in Thrisure is also known as the great Mahadeva temple. This is a very rear temple which has the idols of lord Shiva and Parvathi are kept separately in a different cell of the same temple premises. Apart from the main deities this temple is also a worship place of Lord Vinayaka, Iyyappa Swamy, Sathi Devi, Durga Devi and lord Vishnu.



This temple is one of the most holy temples in the region is visited by Hindus from all over. The main deity is Lord Shiva the destroyer and he is worshipped in the form of a Lingam. The Lingam however is not visible as it is covered with a huge mound of ghee poured over it as offering over the years. The temple recognizes and celebrates most of festivals that mark the Hindu calendar along with the daily rituals however the main festival that is celebrated here is the Maha Shivaratri.
