The Sanwaliya (Sanwaria) temple (Sanwariaji Seth Temple) of the Dark Krishna is located in the town named Mandaphia (Mandpiya), on the Chittorgarh - Udaipur Highway, in the district of Chittorgrah, in the state of Rajasthan, in Northwestern India. It is approximately 40 kilometers from Chittorgarh. The deity of this shrine is known as Sanwaliya or Shri Sanwaria Seth. This shrine is considerably the oldest Hindu temple of this particular Lord and largely carries a mythical mystery about its actual origin. It is to be remembered that this is the land of devotion, duty, responsibility, chivalry and great sacrifice. It is the land of Meera who sang and danced in her ecstatic adorations to Lord Krishna. The unflinching devotion and faith of the Vaishnavite Hindus for the Supreme Being is perfectly symbolized through this particular temple. It is to be remembered that Mandaphia is the second abode of Lord Krishna. The first abode of Lord Krishna is Nathdwara which is just 7 km. from Bhadsora cross-roads that lies on the four - lined highway no. 76, nearly 65 km from Dabok (Udaipur airport).

At this temple, various festivals and ceremonies are perfectly organized round the year by the Mandir Mandal. On the 11th day of Bhadra- Shukla especially Dev-Jhulni Ekaadashi, a fair or mela is organized by the mandir mandal. The mela is marked with a rath procession of the Lord organizede by the adherent devotees and pilgrim. A lakh of local people also actively participate in the pulling of the Rath with great religious zeal and fervour. People visit this temple along with their family members, relatives and close friends.
