Bhrigu supposed to support in the procedure of creation. He wedded with the daughter of Daksha named Khyati. From her, Bhrigu has two children namely Dhata and Vidhata. He also has a daughter who was married to lord Narayana, a form of lord Vishnu. Hence, in certain Hindu mythologies, goddess Laxmi, the companion of lord Vishnu was believed to be the daughter of Bhrigu. The popular saint named Chyavana is also said to be the son of Bhrigu.

Bhrigu belong to a clan named Bhargabas. It is a tribe of sages, descending from the early fire priests. They founded the ceremonious of giving the juice of Soma plant to ancient divinities. Apart from sages, some of the members of Bhargabas were also known as warriors. Bhargabas is closely related with the configuration of Atharva Veda.

In one part, there are statues of lord Narayan, four Vedas in the form of Shiv Linga and certain other Hindu divinities. In the other part, there is statue of lord Jwaleshwar, who was worshipped by sage Bhrigu himself. Furthermore, there are other statues present in this part such as lord Hanuman, sage Vallbhacharya and goddess Lakshmi.
