The temple comes under Vadtal Gadi, one of the two cathedrae which formed Swaminarayan Sampraday. Subsequently, a special holy material named Tilak is positioned in the forehead of the idol and Prasad is offered to her. The celestial lamp is lightened when Aarti is performed. This religious act is done in the presence of devotees.
