In the sky it appears in the shape of an eagle and is easy to notice. Its corresponding symbol is that of three footprints. The word Shravana means 'hearing' and it signifies the art of hearing or the education which is propagated through audible means. The symbol of three footprints as stated earlier represents limping and is also associated Lord Vishnu, who is believed to be the creator.
