Ahmed Shah's Mosque is also known as JaliWali Masjid. The reason is that the mosque is created with grills which translates as Jaali in Hindu language. The name characterises to the baroque of this remarkable monument. It is an exclusive mosque of Pre Mughal period which was created only for the nobles and royal families for worshipping. It is a religious place which is worth visiting.



>The construction of Jama Masjid was specially made by sultan Ahmed Shah, who was the ruler of Muzaffarid territory. He created Ahmedabad city as his capital. The city itself was labelled according to his name. According to historical records, Ahmed Shah conceptualised this wonderful architectural masterpiece in Gujarat. It was a 15th century construction. After the death of the queen, she was buried in Rani Sipri's Mosque. The masjid speaks volumes regarding the inner religious marriage tendencies between different religions. There are several myths regarding the creation of Sidi Bashir Mosque. According to one myth, Sidi Bashir Mosque was created by Sidi Bashir on whom the name was given. In this context, Sidi Bashir was a slave of Sultan Ahmed Shah, the creator of Ahmedabad city.



The significance of Sidi Saiyyed Mosque is quite attention grabbling. It was impeccably created in the year 1573 by Sidi Saiyyed, who was a slave of Sultan Ahmed Shah. He was the fifth sultan of Pahang. Other point of attraction of Sidi Saiyyed Mosque is that it was created in the final year of rule of the Sultanate of Gujarat.
