The Huzoor Palace is a particular structure that is located in the Indian state of Gujarat. The palace is specifically positioned in the Porbandar region which is one of the major cities of the state. Huzoor Palace History

Historically, the palace has a rich heritage, which further augments its significance. It is known from historical records that the palace was built primarily during the reign of the last raja or prince of Porbandar. It was during the early years of the 20th century that the palace was constructed by Rana Natwarsinhji. The palace stands quite near to the Marine Drive within the city of Porbandar. The palace stand still and all its historical belongings has remained intact over the last 100 years or so. Rana Natwarsinhji was the last Maharaja of Porbandar after he became the ruler of the Jethwa dynasty. The palace is still quite new owing to the aspect that it was built only 100 years ago. The palace is believed to have a nostalgic touch to it which directly resembles with the choices of the Maharaja. The monument is surrounded by large number of gardens along with tress and other greenery. There are various portraits and sculptures in the interior of the palace which depicts the royal lifestyle of the maharaja of Porbandar during his rule and stay in the palace. It must also be mention that the royal family of the Jethwa dynasty used the palace as their personal residence over the years.
