Asman Garh Palace is an architectural marvel. Nawab Asman Jah during his visit to Europe was inspired by their forts and palaces. He designed his own palace that gothic model. There are wide opened arched windows and doors in the palace. It almost looks like a fortification from a distance view, since; its terrace was built in that shape. Asman Garh Palace literally means the palace on sky. It was the residing place of the Nawab. He wished his palace to be at greater heights, so that it can reach to the skies. This palace was his summer palace. There was a dense forest on the down hills, where he used to go for hunting. This is the only European style mixed monument in Hyderabad. This also looks like a modern castle. This palace is without any fortifications. But long view of the fort has got an illusion of fortified palace. In the moon light the palace was glazing on the hill top like another moon. This was planned by the Nawab independently. It was built on revival architecture.
