Yog Sadhna Ashram is located just opposite to University of Rajasthan, on University Marg, Near Police Station, in Bapu Nagar, in the capital city of Jaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, in Northwestern India. It is just 10 minutes away from Gandhi Nagar Railway Station and Narayan Singh Circle Bus Stand, 20 minutes away from Sindhi Camp Bus Stand, 30 minutes away from Jaipur / Durgapura Railway Station, Sanganer Airport via JLN Marg and Tonk Road. The general public can drop in for treatment from 7.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon in the morning session and from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 pm in the evening session. It is to be noted that Tuesday is a Holiday. In the year 1969, Swami Anandanand Ji established Yog sadhna ashram in order to get rid of the major and minor sufferings of the people without medicines through Yoga. He was an active member of the Central Advisory Board for Central Council of Research in Indian Medicine and Yoga, Govt. of India. He is the founder President of Yoga Sadhna Ashram. On the other hand, Yogini Dr. Pusplata Garg is the President of Yog Sadhna Ashram. She is Vice-President of International Naturopathy Organization. She is also Ex Yog Chikitsa Incharge of Government Yogic Treatment-Cum-Research Center situated at Bapu Nagar in Jaipur.

  • In the Yoga Sutras, Ashtanga Yoga which is literally means "eight-limbed yoga" as mentioned by the sage Patanjali. As per Patanjali, for revealing the Universal Self, the path of internal purification that consists of eight spiritual practices.

  • With progressive series of postures, this method and techniques of Yoga involves largely synchronizing the breath. The immediate result is a light and strong body, improved circulation and a calm mind. The ashram provides yoga therapy using Ashtang Yog for different diseases.

Services at Yog Sadhna Ashram

  • Yog Sadhna Ashram is a supplementary unit of the Yogic Treatment and Research Center that is run in a successful manner by Government of Rajasthan. It is an independent body. It is to be remembered that many learners and seekers collectively and personally showed great desire to learn yoga in this ashram with enthusiasm. The ashram regularly in morning and evening is conducting Yoga Classes for last over 43 years and at its center since 30 years. The ashram conducts 6 months and 3 months certificate courses in Yoga. It also conducts 1 year diploma course in Yoga that is recognized by State Government of Rajasthan. A 90 Working Days Certificate Course on Yoga and Naturopathy is conducted at this ashram with Rajasthan State Livelihoods and Development Corporation (RSLDC) and sponsored by Govt. of Rajasthan on very meager fees.

  • In the Ashram, Naturopathy treatment is provided for all types of major and minor diseases are being treated such as Diabetes, Asthma, Gastric Troubles, Obesity, Heart Ailment, High Blood Pressure, Sinus, Tension and Mental Disorder through Naturopathy, but except T.B.

  • Meditation is conducted for spiritual progress and mental peace regularly in this ashram.

  • Research on subjects like yoga, meditation, ayurveda and naturopathy are successfully carried out in the Ashram.

  • Library is filled with all kinds of books related to methods of YOGA, YOG and Health readily available.

  • Outdoor patients could come regularly in the morning and evening classes for Yoga practice and treatment after filling registration forms.

  • Indoor patients are given separate wards for male and female. They can stay from 10 days and 3 months.

  • There is a clinical laboratory for testing urine, blood, stool etc. Yoga and Naturopathy treatment starts after testing.

  • In this ashram, for indoor patients ordinary and deluxe rooms are readily available. The treatment plus boarding and lodging expenditure is from 5,000 INR to 15,000 INR. per month.

  • Homeopathy treatment is provided free of cost

  • Pure vegetarian food is served to patients in Yoga and Naturopathy treatment. According to their requirement, Juice and fruits are provided to patients.

  • In the Ashram, there are Physiotherapy facility such as roller massager, vibratory belt and health walker.

  • Yogasan is held from 6.30 to 7.15 a.m.

  • Special class for obesity is held from 6.30 to 7.30 a.m.

  • Purification of body by kunjal & neti methods is held from 7.00 to 8.30 a.m.

  • Special yoga class to keep body healthy & attractive is held from 7.30 to 8.30 a.m.

  • Senior citizen is held from 8.30 to 9.30 a.m.

  • Individual yoga exercise is held from 4.30 to 5.30 p.m.

Yoga Therapy at Yog Sadhna Ashram

In this ashram, Yoga Therapy for the Body Fitness, Meditation (for Stress), Fat Reduction, Heart Problem, Senior Citizen and Hypertension.

Yogic shatkarma comes with Kunjala, Baghee, Dhauti and Basti. It is used for gastro-intestinal disorders. Yoga therapy also uses Bhastrika, Jalaneti, Kapalabhati and Sutraneti. On the other hand, Shankhaprakshalana, Jalaneti, Sutra Neti and Vastradhauti are used to cure major and minor ailment through yoga therapy.

Naturopathy at Yog Sadhna Ashram

Nature cure is a perfect system of man that is largely used with constructive principles of nature in building in harmony on mental, physical, moral and spiritual planes of living.

Different therapies for Naturopathy used in this ashram for treatment of major and minor diseases are steam bath, mud therapy, Sun Bath and Masso Therapy - Oriental and Kerala Massage.
