Duration: 200 Hours including the theory and practical classes which may take a 3 to 4 week time.

Style followed: Yogasanam of classic Vinyaasa's

Yoga Principles: The Hatha and the Asthanga Yoga

Curriculum Includes -

Module I: Includes the beginners introductory to Yogasanam Postures. The Sanskrit names and its meaning for respective postures, the human Physiology and Anatomy are thought here. The Pranayama level I, is thought in the beginning. About Yogic diet is also explained to its students which will benefit in practicing Yogasanam.

Module II: The Pranayama Level II is given importance. The history of Yoga in India, its ethics, philosophy and Yoga as a teaching are explained. It also teaches its students as how to assist a person who is learning Yogasanam while doing various Asanas.

Module III: Explains about the Patanjali Yogasutras and about the Vedic leanings from the Hindu sacred text the Bhagawad Gita.

Accommodation: Is totally on room sharing basis where gents and ladies have separate sections. It has got modern bedding and toilets. These rooms have a fine mattress, a cot, pillow and bed sheets.

Food: The food provided here is pure Kerala vegetarian food. These are prepared with good protein values and are made traditionally in hygienic conditions.

Teaching Method: This Ashram followed the Gurukula mode of teaching. This type is most important in Yoga where the Guru or the teacher is always present with the teacher. Either the students or teachers are in the same premises until the course is completed and the teachers will care its students very well. They teach the theory classes and practical classes of Yogasanam. Also assist or help in performing an Asana which are difficult to do in the beginning stages.
