Siddha Loka Ashram is located approximately 40 km away from Bangalore, in the state of Karnataka, in Southern India. It was established by spiritual head named Param Poojya (His Holiness) Swami Chetanananda Saraswati, who directly belongs to the ancient lineage of Siddha Gurus. It is a registered charitable institution. This ashram is the seat of the Siddha Yoga Dham. The word Siddha literally means 'Perfect Being'. Sights of Siddhaloka Ashram

Siddha Loka Ashram is place of archaeological, historical, religious and mythological significance. All these form the part and parcel of this ashram. It perfectly underlines its divinity, purity and mystery in many aspects.

  • There is a Pandava temple on top of the hill in the background. By trekking through a safe path, you can easily reach this spot. According to the local legends, the Pandavas stayed at this place during their Van-vasam. The whole structure is just four slabs and a roof.
  • On the same hilltop, there is a human foot or a fish shaped pond that is believed to be the foot print of Bheema. If one closely observe this pond nearby then it resembles like a human foot print. On the other hand, in case if you look at this pond from distance from any direction then it largely resembles like a fish on the rock.
  • The Hill of Savan Durga from a distances looks like a seated elephant from this particular direction from the ashram.
  • The architectural site nearby the ashram premises is the Chitra Cave or picture cave. Inside this cave, there are many large size colorful pictures and drawing that is strongly believed to the pre-historical times. The cave looks very dark but a touch light can help you to witness this unique picture and drawing that spread a lot of meaning related to the life and times of the people who lived in this jungle in those days. The script used in this cave is known as 'Conch-shell' or Shankha script.
