Samarpan Ashram is located in Dandi, in the district of Navsari, in the state of Gujarat, in Western India. This ashram is situated along the shores of the Arabian Sea in a natural environment. According to the local legends, this particular place is filled with positive energy of tremendous manner that really affects each and every individual who are wholeheartedly visiting this place and its surroundings. It is to be remembered that Dandi is just 13km from Navsari. On the other hand, Navsari is an important city near Dandi. It is to be highly noted that this place is well-connected by the Western Railway network. The Mumbai international Airport is the nearest air-dash place. It can be approached on National Highway No. 8 that is to Navsari from Mumbai by road.

Birth of Samarpan Ashram

Under very contrary circumstances and situations, Samarpan Ashram has been constructed in a successful manner. It is the initiative of H. H. Shivkrupanand Swami. This ashram strongly believes in the prerequisite of Universal Collectivity. Initially the collectivity has been created successfully then this Ashram has been established.

H. H. Shivkrupanand Swami immediately after descending from Himalayan Mountains, he imparted Samarpan Meditation teachings in Northern India, Sikkim, Nepal and Burma for a many years. In 1999, he conducted initial Meditation Workshop in Nagpur then in Mumbai in 2000 on an invitation from a social worker. The first workshop in the state of Gujarat was organized when he was invited to Navsari. Immediately after winding up the Navsari Meditation workshop, Swamiji along with some sadhaks one day visited the sea shore at Dandi for Meditation.

During the process of this particular meditation session, a powerful energy in the form of 'OM' directly appeared in the blue sky that was created by the magical silver clouds. It is to be noted that OM is a religious symbol that represents everything or entire universe, it is believed this sound was formed during the perfect creation of universe. It is to be remembered that with this particular incident Swamiji largely understood that this appropriate place where His beloved Gurus wished to establish the Ashram. In 2002 one of sadhaks who resided in the nearby village generously donated 70 acres of land for the Ashram near Dandi's sea shore. In the presence of over 15000 sadhaks, on 8th Nov 2005, on occasion of Festival of Consciousness or the Chaitanya Mahotsava, Samarpan Ashram was inaugurated formally by the Divine Master H. H. Shivkrupanand Swami.

Samarpan Meditation

Samarpan Meditation is proudly taught by His Holiness Shivkrupanand Swami who is a living Divine Master from India. Samarpan literally means surrender so that a person may wholeheartedly experience direct connection with the divine power. It is a very simple method of deep meditation that connects a person with Universal Consciousness. It is practiced by individuals around the world and it is much beyond the realm of religion. When an individual surrender then everything, he or she forgets, physical existence and identify as pure soul mind just fully become still then there are no thoughts on any thing and the person is transformed in thoughtless state.

A beginning point of Meditation is thoughtless state. An inward journey is meditation. It is a perfect journey from gross root to the subtle stage. It is to be highly noted that it isn't possible to directly connect with the Divine power as long as a person's identify himself or herself as a body (with perceptions, thoughts and emotions at the surface of mind). As per the scheme, a Sadhak or enthusiasts and seekers can stay for just 4 days (3 nights) in Samarpan Ashram located in Dandi. The necessary application form for this particular scheme is readily available with the Center Acharyas, Co-ordinators, Sanchalaks and Area Heads. On the other hand, overseas Sadhaks at present can opt for One Year Stay in Samarpan Ashram, Dandi. Through 'One Year Volunteer Application Form' has been already released.
