Sadhana Dhama ashram is located in the village named Kanva, in Bengaluru, in the state of Karnataka, in South India. It is an ashram established in the lush green valley. It is nestled in a 12 acre plot spread near Kanva Reservoir. It is about 60 kms from Bengaluru on the Bengaluru -Mysore highway. It is managed by Sadhana Sangama Trust whose administrative office is situated in Kalayoga, in 8th Cross, in 3rd Main Road, Near Om Shakthi Temple, B.E.M.L Extn. 1st Stage, in Basaveshwaranagar, in Bengaluru, in the state of Karnataka, in South India.

Facilities, for the Spiritual Aspirants or Sadhakas

  • Dhyana Mandir: Incorporating 3 pyramid roofs, it is a spacious meditation hall. About 500 people can be accommodated in the hall. It comprises in meditative posture of life size (5 feet) statue of Ishta Anjaneya made in marble plus also a dias or stage for conducting cultural programmes, Yoga, meditation and special events.

  • Sadashiva Chintamani Cave: Underneath the Dhyana Mandir, the cave shrine of Shiva has been built that has a Shivalinga with 'OM', 'Nataraja', 'Gayathri' and 'Naga' carved on it. In order to intensify spiritual aura, it has been specially built.

  • Rajarajeshwari Shikharini: The scientifically built pyramid has been used for energization and chakra activation in the Meditator's body, with four corner built specially conservation to speed up the healing process of the mental body and physical body plus for energy activation. In the middle of the said pyramid, for spiritual attainments, a 3 dimentional Meru Srichakra is installed.

  • The beautiful and attractive statue of Bhagavathi that is nearly 3½ feet in marble is installed in the ashram. It is to be highly noted that she is the perfect confluence of Goddess Sri Lakshmi, Durga and Saraswathi. The icon of worship for the Sri Vidya practitioners is this Goddess.

  • This ashram also comprises of a Goshala, Library, Shakti Peeth, Gayathri Kutir and Guru Nivas.


Residential Facilities for Sadhakas and Guests

Sadhana Dhama ashram has a guest house that can accommodate nearly hundred persons. There are single and double rooms plus dormitory facilities with good ventilated windows and doors, attached bathroom, with fan and cots. The rooms are really spacious. There is a steam cooking kitchen in order to cook for about thousand people at a time. There are two dinning halls that accommodate four hundred people at a time. It is to be remembered that for a non stop power supply, a generator is installed. It is to be highly noted that a team of volunteers and staffs wholeheartedly work hard with dedication and commitment give pleasant and comfortable stay in the ashram for the inmates. There is also a Gurukula model school with 530 children and Sadhana Vidyalaya within the ashram premises.

Courses Offered by Sadhana Dhama ashram

Sadhana Dhama ashram conducts residential Summer & Winter camps in a unique manner. The two residential summer camps are known as Sadhana Kishora Samskara Shibir and Inner Sadhana Camp.

  • Sadhana Kishora Samskara Shibir- It is a purely Children's holistic personality residential camps conducted in a successful manner in the month of April. The ashram has already conducted 26 such camps so far in which nearly 120 children benefited annually. Without touching either computer or pen & pencil, Yogacharya Pattabhiram has directly envisioned this particular camp to be a personality development program. This camp deals with sense of spiritual, emotional, mental and physical dimensions. It gives knowledge of Samskara moulding activities.

The features of Sadhana Kishora Samskara Shibir includes jogging, Karma yoga, folk music, contemporary dance, folk dance, folk games, camp fire, trecking, Hyking, collective dynamic entertainment, Indian group games, special Saraswathi manthra for sharp intellect, Gayathri manthra, Meditation in pyramid & cave, Patriotic songs, Bhajans, Shanthi manthras, Memory - concentration improvement yogic kriyas and Creative Yogasana Session.

  • Inner Sadhana Camp: It is a special adult's week long residential intensive retreat program conducted in a successful manner in the month of May. With a special emphasis on spiritual upliftment, this particular camp is largely intended for elders' citizens in order to perfectly enhance their holistic personality traits. With approximately 100 participants annually from within the nation and abroad, this camp is conducted every year since 25 years. The concept of this camp changes every year in a interesting manner with creative ideas.

The features of Inner Sadhana Camp are Love and family life, Holistic Health Camp, Learn - transform - enrich your life, Health - Happiness - Harmony, Chakra-Prana-Mantra Meditation course, Holistic Inner Journey Camp and Nitya Sadhana Yoga Camp - "Enthusiasm is Health- Health is Happiness". The Guru Pattabhiram gives the message to the participants that harmony directly brings rejuvenation, relaxation and enhances health in the family and happiness in relationship. Harmony is the significant essence of family and Miseries and harmony are our perception and creation.
  • Winter camps - Sadhana Dhama ashram is conducting this winter camp in its ashram premises from 2012. It is a very special perspective annual Winter Camps. It is conducted in a successful manner by two mentors named Smt Jyothi Pattabhiram and Yogacharya Pattabhiram. On the concept of Pranidhaana is deal by Guruji Pattabhiram with lectures and practice sessions. The Sri Vidya path of Sadhana, based on 2 unique texts on Tantra, Yantra, and Mantra namely Saundarya Lahari of Adi Shankaracharya and Sri Vijnana Bhairava Tantra are focused by Jyothi Pattabhiram's Sessions.

Rules and Regulations of Sadhana Dhama Ashram

The Sadhana Sangama Trust under the banner of Sadhana Dhama ashram comes with few rules and regulations that must to be strictly followed and adhered by the members and inmates of this ashram. They must behave in a friendly manner with others. They actively must participate in all the functions and activities of this ashram. They must co-ordinate and co-operate with the ashram authorities and instructors. They mustn't less or over or skip eating during the course period. They must have good sleep during the night hours. They must wear simple and comfortable dress code. Without prior permission, inmates mustn't step out of the ashram premises. They mustn't indulge in smoking and consuming meat and alcohol.
