The main aim of this ashram is to make the society healthy through different methods of meditation and its related natural processes with a lot of perfection. Gandharv Ashram is situated much away from the harsh City situations, circumstances and conditions. The spot of the ashram can be termed as a cool respite rightly situated among the lush greenery dotted by beautiful and colorful garden, age-old trees and small ponds. The best time top visit this location during December to January but it can be visited throughout the year for meeting the needs and requirements of the seekers and enthusiasts.

The selected asanas taught are commonly taught in all these courses are Chandra Namaskara and Surya Namaskara. Asanas performed from Vajrasana, Meditative Sitting Asanas, Standing & Side Bending Asanas, Relaxation Asanas, Eye Exercises, Backward Bending, Forward Bending, Inverted Asanas, Spinal Twists and Balancing Asanas. Physiological and Anatomical common aspects will be studied with much significance and better discussed. Some selected classical Pranayamas are taught. Pranapana kriya yoga comprising: Basthrika, Ujjayi, Nadi Shodhana, Omkar pranayama, Kapalabhati, Tribandha and Bhramari. Some classical mudras will be dealt such as Shambhavi, Agochari, Hand Mudras, Khechari, Bhoochari, Nasika and Vipareeta Karani. Under the Cleansing Practices of Hatha Yoga comprises Nauli (Movement of Abdominal Muscles), Sutra Neti (Nasal cleansing), Jala Neti, Kapalbhati (Frontal Lobe cleansing), Trataka(Concentration) and Agnisar Kriya.

Discussion and practice of the useful mantras and Theory of mantra are also given much importance such as OM, Shanti Path, Brahmarpanam,Surya Namaskara Mantras - both Sun and Mrityunjaya, Gayatri and Bija Mantras. The courses also deal with four classical Bandhas or psycho-physiological locks that include Mool, Jalandhara, Maha and Uddiyana. With yogic techniques, mudras and pranayama, the perfect methods of perfectly combining bandhas are taught. The course schedule and timing may just vary as per the climatic conditions in the ashram or due to some technical aspects prevailing in the ashram. Otherwise, things are carried out as per the normal schedules only in the interest of the participants.
