Atma Joyti Ashram provides Meditation and yoga classes for beginners throughout the year for both the genders separately and in co-education method. People from the age group of 7 years to 85 years can wholeheartedly participate in this course. A moderate fee that is really affordable and reasonable is charged for the entire course. This fee includes food and accommodation facilities within the ashram premises. Sattiv food is provided three times a day. The food items contain a lot of vegetables and fruits. Tea is provided in the early morning, mid-noon and evening hours. The accommodation comes in the form of single rooms, double rooms, shared rooms and dormitory facilities within the ashram. The rooms is provided with basic furniture and furnishing in a simple manner.

The yoga asana that are taught in the initial stages are Paarshvottanasana or Intense Side Stretch posture, Navasana or Boat Pose posture, Pashchimottaanaasana or Full Forward Bend posture, Pavanamuktaasana or Supine knees to chest pose posture, Prasaritapadottana or Standing Straddled Forward Bend posture, Rajakapotasana or King Pigeon Pose posture, Sarvaa~Ngaasana or Shoulder Stand posture and Setubandhasana or Bridge Pose posture.

Rules and Regulations at Atma Jyoti Ashram

Atma Joyti Ashram comes with certain rules and regulation that needs to be strictly followed within the ashram. The inmates, students, participants, visitors and guests shouldn't indulge in consuming non-vegetarian food items, alcohol, drug and any other stuff. They shouldn't indulge in the habit of smoking. They shouldn't venture out of the ashram without the prior permission of the concerned authority of the ashram. They should skip the meal or indulge in over eating or less eating which may affect the health to a great extent when they indulge in the activities of yoga and meditation.

They must give their full cooperation and coordination to their instructors and management authorities of this ashram. They should maintain silence during the time hours and specified time period while staying in this ashram. They should attend the class of theory and practice without fail during the course period of the allotted course in a strict manner. They aren't allowed to roam around the ashram premises without any reasons. They should indulge in the voluntary activities taken up this ashram from time to time without any hesitation under any situations and circumstances.
